This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Schattberg. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 3.174 kilometers and an elevation gain of 138 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your hike, you will come across several points of interest along the way. About 0.15 kilometers from the start, you will find a parking space followed by a parking area at 0.03 kilometers distance. As you continue on the trail, you will pass by a shelter at 0.26 kilometers, providing a great resting spot.

Further along the trail at 1.44 kilometers, you will encounter the Walk of Fame Maria Alm, an artwork worth exploring. Additionally, at 1.39 kilometers, there is a restaurant called Hinterreit, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.

There are also benches scattered along the trail for hikers to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. One bench is located at the beginning of the trail, while another is situated at 0.76 kilometers, and the last one can be found at 1.39 kilometers.

Make sure to bring an ample water supply, as well as snacks and a camera to capture the stunning views along the way. It is recommended to check the weather forecast before heading out on the trail. Enjoy your hike in the picturesque Schattberg area!
