As you start your journey, you will come across the Sandten parking area, which marks the beginning of the trail. Along the way, you will encounter the Wunderquelle spring and the Salzburger Kreuz wayside cross. These spots provide a serene setting to rest and take in the surroundings.
As you continue on, you will reach the Schwarze Lache, a beautiful natural water feature located 6.38 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the area.
Further along the route, at approximately 3.36 kilometers from the start, you will find the Sommerstein peak. This vantage point offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and is a great place to capture memorable photos.
For those looking to stay overnight, the Riemannhaus alpine hut is located 3.57 kilometers from the trail start. This accommodation option provides a cozy place to relax and spend the night amidst the tranquil surroundings.
