This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Breithorn peak in the picturesque area. The trail has a distance of 9.901 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1246 meters, so be prepared for a challenging adventure.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Sandten parking area, situated right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle here before you embark on the hike. Along the way, you'll encounter various points of interest such as the Riemannhaus alpine hut, offering a cozy retreat for weary hikers. Further on, you'll pass by the Wallfahrt memorial and the Grenzjägerofen information point, where you can learn more about the history and landmarks of the area.

Midway through the hike, you'll reach the Sommerstein peak, providing stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
