This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding the Stausee. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 4.871 kilometers and an elevation gain of 148 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Naturpark Schaustadel, located right at the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to learn more about the local area and its natural beauty. As you continue on, you will pass by the Waltlmühlsäge parking area, where you can leave your car before starting the hike.

About mid-way through the hike, you will reach the Stausee, a picturesque water reservoir where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. This is a perfect spot to relax and recharge before continuing on your journey.

Along the trail, you will also find benches where you can rest and take in the surroundings. Information boards are scattered along the route, providing interesting facts about the area and its history.
