This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you to the stunning Schnidehorn peak, covering a distance of 13.112 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1137 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is approximately 5 hours and 52 minutes.
The trail starts at Tseuzier, where you can find parking facilities before embarking on your journey. As you begin your hike, you will pass by the Restaurant du Lac, a perfect spot to grab a quick bite before continuing. About 4.29 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the beautiful Lac de Ténéhet, providing a scenic break along the trail.
Around 1.86 kilometers from the start, you will find the Gîte de Lourantze, an alpine hut where you can rest and refuel for the journey ahead. A little further, at approximately 1.77 kilometers from the start, you will encounter an information point providing insights about the area.
