The hiking route to Wistätthorn is an extremely difficult 18.402-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 1262 meters. The trail is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural surroundings.

Further along the route, you will come across two more parking areas named Reka, perfect for those who are joining you midway through the hike.

About 9.2 kilometers into the trail, you will reach the peak of Wistätthorn. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the panoramic views that the summit has to offer. You will also find an information point named Chatzestalde at 3.69 kilometers from the start, followed by Schadauli at 1.07 kilometers, and Stutz at 2.01 kilometers.
