This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Sentier Cathare, offering stunning views and historical landmarks along the way. The route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 2.426 kilometers and an elevation gain of 198 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you'll come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. Shortly after, you'll encounter a wayside cross and a bench where you can take a rest and enjoy the surroundings. About 1.21 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach a viewpoint that offers breathtaking views of the natural peak in the distance.

Midway through the route, you'll have the opportunity to explore the historic Château de Roquefixade, a castle that dates back to the past. You'll also find a fountain where you can refill your water bottle and stay hydrated for the rest of the hike.

Towards the end of the trail, approximately 0.52 kilometers from the starting point, there is another viewpoint where you can admire the scenic landscape. Finally, as you make your way back, you'll pass by an information point that provides insights about the area's history and significance.
