This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area near D 9. The trail is 1.747 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 144 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. It takes approximately 45 minutes to complete.
As you start your hike, you'll come across the Parking Château de Montségur, situated just 7.9 meters away from the trail. Further along the trail, at a distance of 0.82 kilometers, you'll reach the Château de Montségur, a historic castle and popular tourist attraction with an entry fee.
Keep walking and you'll pass by the Col de Montségur, a natural saddle located 132.7 meters away from the trail. Along the way, you'll also find informative landmarks such as the Sentier Cathare and various viewpoints offering stunning vistas of the surroundings.
At the turnaround point of the trail, you'll reach Col du Tremblement, another natural saddle located 21.1 meters away from the trail. Take in the scenic beauty of the area before heading back along the same route.
