This hiking route will take you through a stunning area with breathtaking views and challenging terrain. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 14.472 kilometers and an elevation gain of 925 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
Starting at the Parking du col des Tentes, you will begin your journey through the beautiful landscape. Along the way, you will pass by the Col de Tentes, a scenic saddle that offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Make sure to stop by the Refuge des Sarradets, an alpine hut where you can rest and refuel before continuing your hike.
As you trek further, you will come across the Puerto de Bujaruelo, another saddle with mesmerizing vistas. You can also explore the Abri de La Brèche de Roland and Abri Gaurier, cave entrances that add a touch of adventure to your hike. The Brèche de Roland, a natural saddle, is another noteworthy point of interest along the trail.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Pointe Bazillac, a peak offering stunning views of the surroundings. Further ahead, you will encounter Le Doigt, another peak waiting to be conquered. Your ultimate destination is the Punda Negra / Tallón peak, where you can enjoy a well-deserved sense of accomplishment.
