Welcome to the hiking route to Petit Vignemale! This route is located in a beautiful area with stunning alpine scenery.

As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. Around the 5.7 kilometers mark, you will find multiple water sources where you can replenish your supplies. Continuing on, at 5.57 kilometers, you will reach the Refuge de Bayssellance, an alpine hut where you can rest and even spend the night if needed.

Further along the trail, at 6.23 kilometers, you will reach the Hourquette d'Ossoue saddle, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. As you approach the 7.09 kilometers mark, you will encounter the Petit Vignemale peak, a spectacular natural landmark.

Additionally, there are other facilities such as the Cabane d'Ossoue shelter and the Grottes Bellevue caves along the trail, providing opportunities for exploration and rest.

This out-and-back route spans approximately 14.184 kilometers in total and involves an elevation gain of 1167 meters, making it extremely difficult. Therefore, it is essential to be well-prepared with proper hiking gear, sufficient water, and snacks.
