This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Balsa dera Lumiacha (Bozuelo). The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 3.779 kilometers and an elevation gain of 308 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.
As you start your hike, you will come across the Refugio Casa de Piedra, an alpine hut located just 0.2 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail, at about 0.58 kilometers from the start, you will find the Mirador del Balneario, a viewpoint offering a beautiful panoramic view of the area.
Midway through the hike, at around 0.52 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Mirador del Pino, another scenic viewpoint. Nearby, there is also a waterfall, adding to the natural beauty of the area.
Throughout the trail, there are several water sources available, such as the drinking water point at the Refugio Casa de Piedra and other natural water features along the way. However, it is always recommended to bring an adequate supply of water with you.
