This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the stunning Pico de Ordiso peak. The 17.4-kilometer trail offers 926 meters of elevation gain and is expected to take around 6 hours and 20 minutes to complete.
Starting at Bujaruelo, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Refugio de Bujaruelo, an alpine hut where you can rest and refuel before continuing your journey. Further along, you'll pass by the Iglesia de San Nicolas de Bujaruelo, a historic church dating back to the 13th century.
Midway through the hike, you'll encounter the Cabaña de Ordiso, a shelter with historic ruins, providing a glimpse into the area's past. As you approach the peak, you will be greeted by the Fuente de la Femalla, a drinking water source to quench your thirst.
Near the summit, you'll find the Pico de Ordiso peak itself, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, there are information points and viewpoints scattered along the trail, providing insight into the area's history and offering panoramic vistas.
