This hiking route takes you to the stunning Pico de Bernatuara in the beautiful wilderness of Bigorre. With a total distance of 10.18 kilometers and an elevation gain of 770 meters, this hike is classified as difficult and is expected to take around 4 hours and 16 minutes to complete.

As you start your adventure, you will come across the Cabane de Lourdes, a wilderness hut located 1.63 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. Continuing onwards, at 4.51 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Col de la Bernatoire, a saddle that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the area.

Further along the trail, at 5.09 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Pico de Bernatuara, a prominent peak that provides a rewarding summit experience. Make sure to take in the sweeping vistas from the top before you start your journey back.

During your hike, you may also come across the Ibon de Bernatuara, a serene water body located 4.51 kilometers from the trailhead, as well as the Grottes du Cardal, a cave entrance situated 2.92 kilometers from the start.
