This hiking route takes you to the stunning Pico de Bernatuara in the beautiful wilderness of Bigorre. With a total distance of 10.18 kilometers and an elevation gain of 770 meters, this hike is classified as difficult and is expected to take around 4 hours and 16 minutes to complete.
As you start your adventure, you will come across the Cabane de Lourdes, a wilderness hut located 1.63 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. Continuing onwards, at 4.51 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Col de la Bernatoire, a saddle that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the area.
