This hiking route takes you through the stunning area around Oberbrunnalm. The trail is 10.396 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 704 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 10 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across Schraffelbrücke, a parking area at the beginning of the trail. Along the way, you will also find various points of interest such as Oberbrunnalm, a restaurant and alpine hut located midway through the hike. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy some local cuisine.
You will also encounter several benches and information points along the trail to rest and learn more about the area. Keep an eye out for the wayside shrine Bildstock hl. Johannes Nepomuk, a historic site located 0.08 kilometers from the start.
One of the highlights of the hike is the viewpoint at 3.39 kilometers from the start, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to bring plenty of water, as this is a challenging hike with significant elevation gain.
