This hiking route will take you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The total distance of the hike is approximately 6.236 kilometers with an elevation gain of 530 meters, making it a difficult trail that will require some physical endurance.
You will start your journey at the parking area, which is located right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way along the path, you will come across several points of interest. About 0.63 kilometers into the hike, you will find the "Rast" drinking water point where you can refill your water bottle. Further along the trail, at around 1.57 kilometers, there is another drinking water point for your convenience.
Around the midway point of the hike, at approximately 2.3 kilometers, you will pass by the Fuhrwerksunfall, Gedenken wayside shrine and the Brunnen drinking water point. As you continue on, you will encounter various benches and information points along the way, providing you with insights into the area's history and points of interest.
Towards the end of the trail, at around 3.12 kilometers, you will reach the Jausenstation Brunntal, a restaurant and alpine hut where you can rest and refuel before heading back. The endpoint also marks the turnaround point of this out-and-back route.
