This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Kaltwassersee. The trail is 7.233 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 453 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

As you start your journey, you will pass by Parkplatz Rosshütte and Friedhofsparkplatz, both parking areas that are about 1.15 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. About midway through the hike at 3.62 kilometers from the start, you will reach Kaltwassersee, a stunning lake where you can take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Along the way, you will also come across various amenities such as the Hocheggalm restaurant and alpine hut at 2.72 kilometers from the start, Rasthaus Umfahrung restaurant at 0.64 kilometers, and Schialm restaurant at 1.24 kilometers.
