This extremely difficult 12.433-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through a rugged and challenging terrain with a total elevation gain of 612 meters.
Starting at the parking area, you will make your way through the picturesque landscape, passing by the Wayside Cross at just 0.01 kilometers from the start. As you continue on the trail, you will reach the historic Col de Couret at 2.74 kilometers, where you can take in breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
Midway through the hike, at 6.06 kilometers, you will come across the Refuge du Haugarou, a restaurant and alpine hut where you can rest and refuel before continuing on your journey. Make sure to check out their website for more information.
Towards the end of the hike, at 10.505 kilometers, you will encounter a wayside cross with historical significance, adding a cultural element to your outdoor adventure.
