You are about to embark on a challenging hike in the Louesque region. The hike is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 9.134 kilometers and an elevation gain of 935 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous trek.

As you begin your journey, you'll come across the P4 Parking Anglas, a convenient spot to leave your vehicle before starting the hike. As you make your way along the trail, you'll encounter the breathtaking Lac de Louesque around the 4.13 kilometer mark, offering a serene spot to rest and take in the beautiful surroundings.

Further along the trail, you'll find the historic ruins of Cardet, providing a glimpse into the region's past. Make sure to explore these intriguing sites before continuing on your hike. Around 1.92 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the Cabane de la Coste de Goua, a rustic shelter where you can take a break and refuel before heading back.

Throughout the hike, you'll also pass by various water sources, including the Cascade de Louesque at the 3.82 kilometer mark, adding a refreshing touch to your adventure. As you venture back towards the starting point, take a moment to appreciate the natural beauty surrounding you and perhaps enjoy a picnic at one of the designated sites along the trail.
