This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural scenery and challenging terrain. The trail is approximately 10.781 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1052.0 meters, making it a difficult hike that will test your endurance.

You will start your journey at a parking area, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way along the path, you will come across several water features such as the picturesque Estany de Mascarida at the midway point of the hike. This stunning lake offers a perfect spot to rest and take in the serene surroundings.

Further along the trail, you will encounter more bodies of water, including the Estany Gran de Campirme and Estany de Finestres, each offering their own unique beauty. Around the 4.6 kilometer mark, you will find the Estanys de Campirme, a cluster of lakes that provide a peaceful atmosphere for a break.

As you continue on, you will also pass by the Refugi de la Pleta del Prat, an alpine hut where you can take a break and refuel before heading back. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore a peak at the 4.13 kilometer mark and historic ruins at the 2.14 kilometer point.

The trail is an out-and-back route, with Estany de Finestres as the destination. It is essential to bring an ample water supply, proper hiking gear, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike.
