This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route leads to the stunning Pic de Montarenyo, located in a beautiful area with breathtaking views. The trail spans a distance of 8.572 kilometers and features an elevation gain of 1373 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding adventure.

As you embark on this hike, you will come across several points of interest along the way. Approximately 4.29 kilometers from the start, you will reach the majestic peak of Pic de Montarenyo, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.

At the beginning of the trail, you will find a convenient parking area, located just a short distance away. Further along the hike, approximately 1.31 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Cabane de Saubé wilderness hut, providing a cozy spot to rest and enjoy the wilderness.

As you continue on the trail, you will pass by the Port de Cruzous saddle, situated approximately 3.34 kilometers from the start, offering a picturesque spot to admire the scenery. Additionally, the Source de Saubé spring can be found approximately 1.33 kilometers from the start, providing a refreshing water source for hikers.
