This hiking route takes you through the stunning area around Porta del Cel in a circular path. The trail covers a distance of approximately 10.1 kilometers with an elevation gain of 718 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

As you start your journey, you will pass by some key points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a convenient parking area for your vehicle. As you continue, you will come across the Estany Xic, a picturesque small lake situated at a distance of 1.29 kilometers from the start.

Further along the trail, at around 3.48 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the beautiful Estany de Flamisella and the tranquil Estanyol de Flamisella, both offering serene water views amidst the natural surroundings. These make for great spots to take a breather and soak in the peaceful ambiance of the area.

About midway through the hike, at 4.86 kilometers from the start, you will find another water point along the trail. This could be a good place to refill your water bottle and take in the surrounding scenery before continuing your trek.

As you progress on the trail, you will also come across useful facilities such as a shelter and an information point, providing you with assistance and insights about the area. Additionally, there is the Font de la Costa spring located at approximately 0.37 kilometers from the start, offering a refreshing natural water source on your journey.

Towards the end of the hike, at 4.36 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Cabana de Guerossos wilderness hut. This could be a great spot to rest and enjoy some snacks while taking in the panoramic views before making your way back to the starting point.

Given the length and elevation gain of the hike, it is advisable to carry an ample water supply, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure. With its stunning natural landscapes and diverse points of interest, the Porta del Cel hiking route promises a challenging yet fulfilling experience for outdoor enthusiasts.
