This hiking route takes you through a rugged and challenging terrain in the mountains. With a distance of 10.302 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1470 meters, this extremely difficult hike will test your endurance and strength.

Starting off at the trailhead, you'll pass by a parking area before heading into the wilderness. About 5.15 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across a water source, offering a refreshing break. As you continue on, you'll encounter more water sources at 4.92 and 4.94 kilometers from the start.

At the 3.42 kilometer mark, you'll find the beautiful Estany de Ventolau, although slightly off the trail, it's a worthwhile detour for its scenic views. Further along the trail, at 3.77 kilometers, the Pic de Ventolau peak provides a stunning vantage point to catch your breath and take in the surrounding landscape.

For those seeking shelter, the Refugi de Crestuix is conveniently located at 0.88 kilometers from the start, offering a cozy spot to rest and recharge. As you trek onwards, you'll reach a saddle at 4.09 kilometers, followed by the Cim de Costa Blava peak at 3.23 kilometers.

Midway through the hike, at 5.15 kilometers, you'll encounter another peak before reaching a saddle at 4.31 kilometers. The Lo Vedo peak, located at the same distance, offers a challenging but rewarding climb with panoramic views of the area.

Before embarking on this hike, make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and essential gear. As this is an out-and-back route, plan your turnaround time accordingly to ensure you have enough daylight to complete the trek.
