This extremely difficult 18.485-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through a breathtaking alpine area. The trail starts at Rifugio Infernotto, an alpine hut located 9.24 kilometers from the beginning of the route. As you journey through the rugged terrain, you will come across various points of interest.
At the beginning of the hike, you will pass by Il Provencale, a restaurant located just 0.03 kilometers from the start, where you can grab a bite to eat before embarking on your adventure. Along the way, you will also find a parking area located right on the trail, making it convenient for those arriving by car.
Approximately 3.95 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a fountain and a drinking water station, perfect for refilling your bottles and staying hydrated on the challenging trail. Additionally, another drinking water station is available closer to the hut, 9.24 kilometers into the hike.
With a total elevation gain of 666 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart. Make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen, as well as wear sturdy hiking shoes and clothing suitable for changing weather conditions.
