This challenging 5.18 km circular hiking route will take you to the breathtaking area around Croce di Sanfront. The trail starts at a parking area which is conveniently located at the beginning of the hike. As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by the lovely Rifugio Mulatero alpine hut, situated 2.04 km from the start, offering a picturesque resting spot.

Further along the trail, at 1.42 km from the start, you will find Fontana dell'Orso, a drinking water fountain where you can refill your water bottle. Continuing on, at 2.04 km from the start, you will reach another drinking water spot and a BBQ area for a relaxing break.

One of the highlights of the hike is the Croce di Sanfront peak, located 2.26 km from the start, where you can marvel at panoramic views of the surrounding area. On the way back, at 2.22 km from the start, you will encounter the Miravidi alpine hut, providing another opportunity to rest and take in the scenery.

With an elevation gain of 596 meters, this difficult trail is recommended for experienced hikers. Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate gear for the journey. Additionally, check the weather forecast before heading out to ensure a safe and enjoyable hiking experience.
