This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the majestic Bric Arpiol, covering a distance of 13.975 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1062 meters. Make sure to pack plenty of water and snacks, as this challenging hike will take approximately 5 hours and 53 minutes to complete.
Starting off at the trailhead, you'll immediately come across the Laghetto di Pian del Ciot, a serene water body just 4.46 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a breather and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before continuing on your journey. As you trek further, you'll pass by the Grotta e statua di San Frontone, a cave entrance located 1.55 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.
Midway through the hike, you'll reach the Case dei Canaves, historic ruins that are 0.79 kilometers from the start.
