This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area surrounding Geierkogel. The trail is 4.587 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 75 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

Starting at the parking area, you will pass by the Schönleitenhütte, an alpine hut just 0.01 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue onwards, you will encounter informational points providing insight into the surrounding natural beauty, such as the Großer Asitz peak and the Schönleitenweg.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the Geierkogel peak, 2.29 kilometers from the start, offering stunning panoramic views of the area. Along the way, you will also come across benches where you can take a rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

For a unique experience, make sure to visit the Naturkino am Asitz, a nature cinema 1.17 kilometers from the start, offering a sensory experience in the heart of nature.
