This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Los Traviesos, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. The route is an out-and-back type, starting at the parking area near the trailhead. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks for this extremely difficult 18.927-kilometer hike with an elevation gain of 2408 meters.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by several parking areas before reaching the peak of Los Traviesos, located 9.46 kilometers from the start. Along the way, you will also come across drinking water sources, information points like the PR-PNPE 13 Cueva de Santibañas, and various restaurants for a quick bite to eat.
Midway through the hike, at around 5.95 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a saddle offering a brief rest spot with amazing views. Further along the trail, you will pass by several more peaks such as Cueto Luengo and Pico Cuvicente, each providing unique panoramic vistas of the surrounding area.
Towards the end of the hike, you will find more peaks like El Mazu and Jultayu, offering a final challenge before heading back.
