This extremely difficult hiking route takes you through a challenging yet rewarding terrain in the area of Torre del Medio. The trail spans a distance of 10.593 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1550 meters, making it a physically demanding journey that will test your endurance.
As you start your hike, you'll come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find parking areas for your convenience. As you continue onwards, you'll pass by a drinking water spot, restaurants like La Ruta, Casa Cuevas, El Montañero, and La Senda, as well as cafes and an information point for PR-PNPE 13 Cueva de Santibañas.
Midway through your hike, you'll encounter peaks such as Torre del Medio, Fuente Palombar, and Funte de la Jarda, each offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to stay hydrated and take breaks as needed, especially at these higher elevations.
