This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding the Refugio de la Terenosa in a out-and-back style trail. The trail spans a distance of 2.594 kilometers with an elevation gain of 173 meters, offering a moderate level of difficulty suitable for most hikers.
You will begin your journey at the trailhead located at an elevation of 1115 meters. As you embark on the route, you will pass by the Fuente del Monte spring, a natural water source located just 1 kilometer from the start. This is a great spot to refill your water bottles and take a moment to appreciate the surrounding nature.
Continuing on, after approximately a kilometer into the hike, you will reach the Fuente del Rollu, another drinking water source along the trail. This will provide a refreshing break before reaching the destination point, the Refugio de la Terenosa. This alpine hut offers accommodation for hikers and is located at an elevation of 1319 meters, making it a perfect resting point at the end of your hike.
