This challenging hiking route in the area of 7A offers stunning views and diverse points of interest to explore along the way. The trail spans a total distance of 8.243 kilometers with an elevation gain of 604 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure.
Starting at the trailhead, hikers will come across a parking area at the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter various noteworthy landmarks. Approximately 3.32 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a bench where you can take a rest and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
Further along the trail, at around 3.35 kilometers, you will reach the Schutzhaus Tschafon - Rifugio Monte Cavone, a restaurant and alpine hut where you can refuel and relax before continuing your journey.
Continuing on, at the 3.99-kilometer mark, you will reach the Völseggspitze - Monte Balzo peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the area. As you approach the midway point of the hike, you'll find the Tschafon - Monte Cavone peak at approximately 3.52 kilometers.
For those in need of a break, there are benches scattered along the trail at various points, including one at 2.28 kilometers and another at 2.43 kilometers. You can also take in the vista from viewpoints along the route, with one situated at 0.65 kilometers and another at 4.12 kilometers.
