Welcome to the Chemin des Charbonniers hiking route! This trail is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural attractions and historical landmarks.

As you start your journey, you will come across the parking area, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. Here you can leave your vehicle before embarking on your hike. Just a short distance from the trail, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area.

About 0.43 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Cirque de Mourèze, a fascinating natural rock formation that is a must-see attraction along the trail. As you continue, you will encounter a water source at around the 0.02-kilometer mark, perfect for refilling your water bottle.

Throughout the hike, you will find several benches strategically placed along the trail, allowing you to take a break and admire the surrounding scenery. Chez Eva restaurant is also located nearby, offering a great spot to grab a meal or snack.

At 1.96 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Mont Liausson, a peak that offers breathtaking views of the surroundings. Further along, you will come across a wayside cross and a rock formation, adding to the charm of the trail.

As you approach the endpoint of the hike, you will encounter Les Orgues peak, providing another opportunity to enjoy panoramic views. Finally, at around 2.25 kilometers, you will reach a viewpoint where you can take in the beauty of the area before making your way back.

With a total distance of 4.495 kilometers and an elevation gain of 311 meters, this hike is considered moderate in difficulty. Remember to bring enough water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before setting out. Enjoy your adventure on the Chemin des Charbonniers trail!
