This hiking route is located in a picturesque area with stunning natural beauty. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting at a designated parking area. The total distance of the route is 2.892 kilometers with an elevation gain of 121 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

About 0.45 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the historic boundary stone called Borne 305bis. Further along the trail, at a distance of 1.45 kilometers, you will find the Gîte Somport alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Additionally, there is a restaurant, Espace Nordique du Somport, located at the same point as the Gîte Somport for those looking for a meal or refreshments along the way. Another interesting point on the trail is the Fuente de Somport spring, located 0.44 kilometers from the start, offering a natural water source for hikers.
