This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Lago Nero. With a total distance of 5.633 kilometers and an elevation gain of 390 meters, this moderate difficulty trail offers a wonderful outdoor experience.
Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, you will begin your journey towards Lago Nero. Approximately 1.67 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy some snacks. Continuing onwards, at around 1.68 kilometers, you will find the Rifugio Capanna dei Pastori wilderness hut, offering a cozy spot to rest and refuel.
As you trek further along the trail, at about 2.7 kilometers in, you will reach the alpine hut near Lago Nero. This is a great spot to take in the scenic views of the surrounding area. Additionally, there are several information points along the trail that provide interesting details about the area and its history.
Towards the end of the trail, at approximately 2.79 kilometers, you will find a drinking water station to quench your thirst before heading back. Finally, at the end of the route, you will return to the starting point at the parking area.
