This challenging 11.339-kilometer circular hike will take you through the stunning natural beauty of La Piastra. The route has an elevation gain of 836 meters and is estimated to take about 4 hours and 42 minutes to complete.

As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. A short distance from the start, you'll find a drinking water station to fill up your bottles.

Halfway through the hike, at approximately 2.86 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the mesmerizing Grotta dell'Acqua cave entrance, followed by the Grotta del Porcile cave entrance around the 3.04-kilometer mark.

As you continue on, you will come across the Balzo Rosso peak located at 3.45 kilometers from the start, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, at 4.8 kilometers from the start, there is a viewpoint and an information point where you can learn more about the area.

Towards the latter part of the hike, at around 5.3 kilometers from the start, you will reach the La Piastra peak, a highlight of the route with its panoramic views.
