This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Lago Turchino. The trail is a total of 4.62 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 331 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. The estimated duration for this hike is 1 hour and 53 minutes.

As you start your hike, you will come across the historic wayside shrine at 1.32 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at 0.6 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Gigi Casentini alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning views. The Foce a Giovo saddle is located 1.31 kilometers from the start and provides a picturesque spot to rest and take in the surroundings.

Around the midway point of the hike, you will find a spring with drinking water at 1.32 kilometers from the start, perfect for refilling your water bottle. As you continue on, you will pass by the Sorgente al Mercatello spring at 0.58 kilometers from the start before reaching the climbing area at 0.38 kilometers.

Towards the end of the trail, approximately 2.29 kilometers from the start, you will encounter another spring for a final refreshment before making your way back.
