Welcome to the hiking route to Hochalmhütte!

This moderate 5.044-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 442 meters will take you approximately 2 hours and 16 minutes to complete. The route is an out-and-back trail, starting at the parking area near Pichlerhof restaurant.

As you begin your hike, you will pass by Pichlerhof restaurant, which is a great spot to grab a meal before or after your adventure. The trail will lead you through beautiful alpine landscapes, with stunning views along the way.

About 1.07 kilometers into the hike, you will come across an information point where you can learn more about the area. Make sure to take a moment to appreciate the surroundings and maybe take a few pictures.

At around 2.1 kilometers, you'll find another information point, providing more insight into the local flora, fauna, and history of the region. It's a great opportunity to take a break and soak in the knowledge.

Midway through the hike, at 2.52 kilometers, you will reach Hochalmhütte, an alpine hut where you can rest and refuel before heading back. The hut offers a cozy atmosphere and a chance to experience traditional alpine hospitality.
