Located in a breathtaking natural setting, this hiking route is not for the faint of heart. Covering a distance of 14.768 kilometers with an elevation gain of 983 meters, this route is classified as extremely difficult and is estimated to take around 5 hours and 52 minutes to complete.
Starting from the parking area at Planu e Murta, hikers will begin their journey into the rugged terrain. The trail passes by the beautiful Su Contu peak, standing majestically at a distance of 7.38 kilometers from the start. As you continue along the path, you will encounter the mesmerizing Salto di Su Marinau waterfall, adding a touch of tranquility to your adventure at 1.79 kilometers from the beginning.
For those seeking a bit of exploration, the trail also leads to the cave entrances of S'Arcada de s'Orruargiu and Sa Rutta'e Sa Ena, located 3.47 and 1.06 kilometers from the start, respectively. Don't forget to replenish your water supply at the refreshing spring of Sa Ena, conveniently situated 1 kilometer into the hike.
