This hiking route will take you to the stunning Pletzachkogel, located in a beautiful area with historic sites and natural wonders. The trail is 6.902 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 910 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the Bayreuterhütte parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the trek. About 1.53 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a wayside shrine, adding a touch of history to your adventure. Further along the trail at 1.37 kilometers, there is an information point to learn more about the area.

Midway through the hike, at 3.45 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Pletzachkogel, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Take a moment to rest at the bench located at 1.37 kilometers and enjoy the serene atmosphere. Additionally, there is a viewpoint nearby at the same distance where you can capture memorable photos of the scenery.

On the return journey, around 2.39 kilometers, you will find another bench to relax and refuel before continuing your descent. As you near the end of the trail at 0.54 kilometers, there is another bench for a final break before reaching the starting point.
