Welcome to the hiking route to Reither Kogel! This 7.146-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 730 meters offers a challenging but rewarding experience for hikers. The route will take approximately 3 hours and 28 minutes to complete.

The hike begins at the parking area near Gasthof Dorfwirt, where you can fuel up with a meal before starting your adventure. As you make your way up the trail, you'll pass by Cafe Sonnleiten, a great spot to grab a drink or snack about 0.43 kilometers from the start.

Midway through the hike, at around 1.07 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the peak of Spitzerköpfel, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape from the viewpoint at Aussichtspunkt Hinterkogel, located 2.89 kilometers from the start.

Further along the trail, at 3.57 kilometers from the start, you'll find several benches where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. Reither Kogel, the highest peak of the hike, is located at this point, offering stunning views of the area.

Remember to bring plenty of water, especially on hot days, and check the weather forecast before heading out. The difficulty of this hike is rated as difficult due to its length and elevation gain, so be prepared for a challenging but fulfilling adventure.

After reaching the peak, you'll retrace your steps back to the starting point, passing by the same points of interest along the way. As you descend back to the parking area, take in the beauty of the natural surroundings and reflect on the accomplishment of conquering Reither Kogel.
