This hiking route is set in a picturesque area with stunning natural beauty. The trail is an out-and-back type, leading to the destination of Gipfelkreuz Helm.

As you embark on this 7.726-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 666 meters, you'll encounter various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find the Leckfeldalm, a charming alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some sustenance. Further along, at around 0.25 kilometers from the start, you'll come across a drinking water facility for refilling your water bottle.

As you continue your hike, you'll encounter the Heini Klammer memorial at 0.4 kilometers from the beginning and an informative wayside cross named Heimkehrerkreuz at 2.21 kilometers. Be sure to stop by the viewpoint at Heimkehrerkreuz at the same distance for a breathtaking panorama of the surroundings.
