This challenging hiking route will take you to Tessenberger See, a beautiful destination surrounded by nature. The trail covers a distance of 8.432 kilometers with an elevation gain of 778 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.
As you start your journey, you will come across Astenrast, a historic wayside cross located 1.98 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Along the way, you will find drinking water sources and benches to rest on, ensuring you stay hydrated and take breaks when needed.
Midway through the hike, at 4.16 kilometers from the start, you will find water sources where you can refill your supplies. Continuing on, at 4.22 kilometers, you will reach Tessenberger See, a picturesque lake where you can relax and enjoy the serene surroundings.
On your way back, be sure to visit Glinzzipf, a natural peak 4.07 kilometers from the start of the trail, offering stunning views of the area. Additionally, information points and benches are conveniently placed along the route to provide you with rest stops and interesting facts about the area.
