The Alta Via Val d'Incarojo is an extremely difficult 13.807 km hiking route that offers stunning views and challenging terrain. The route starts at the parking area located at 0.0 km from the trail and takes you through a variety of landscapes.
As you begin your journey, you will come across the Rifugio forestale di Pezzeit at 1.97 km from the start, providing a nice shelter along the way. Further along the route, at 4.3 km from the start, you will encounter Casera Pradulina, Casera Turiee, Rifugio forestale di Pezzeit, and Casera di Rio Secco, offering a cluster of facilities for hikers to rest and refuel.
Continuing on, you will reach Forca Pradulina at 5.47 km, a beautiful natural saddle to admire. Throughout the hike, make sure to stay hydrated, as there is a drinking water station at 6.37 km from the start to replenish your supply.
For those interested in historical sites, there are several ruins and cave entrances along the trail, providing glimpses into the past.
As you reach the turnaround point of the hike at the wilderness hut Ricovero Casera Turriee at 6.15 km, take a moment to enjoy the panoramic views before heading back.
