This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you through the stunning Alta Via Val d'Incarojo area. With a total distance of 13.807 kilometers and an elevation gain of 732 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart. As you embark on this journey, you will encounter several points of interest along the way. Starting at the trailhead, you'll find the parking area at the very beginning of the route. As you make your way through the rugged terrain, you'll come across the Rifugio forestale di Pezzeit approximately 1.97 kilometers into the hike, providing a sheltered spot for a rest.
Further along the trail at around 4.3 kilometers, you'll reach a cluster of informative sites including Casera Pradulina, Casera Turiee, Rifugio forestale di Pezzeit, and Casera di Rio Secco. These spots offer a wealth of knowledge about the area's history and natural features.
Midway through the hike, at 6.15 kilometers, you'll encounter the Ricovero Casera Turriee, a wilderness hut where you can take a break and soak in the panoramic views.
