This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on an out-and-back journey to Malga Lodin alta on the Sentiero dei Silenzi trail.
The trail spans a distance of 13.671 kilometers with an elevation gain of 461 meters, making it a challenging trek that will test your endurance. It is recommended to prepare adequately by bringing plenty of water, snacks, and checking the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the Käsestube, a farm shop located at the beginning of the route where you can purchase some local cheese products. As you continue along the trail, you will reach Straniger Alm, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy some traditional refreshments.
About midway through the hike, you will encounter a natural water source, perfect for refilling your water bottle and taking a short break. Additionally, there are parking areas along the trail for those arriving by car.
