This hiking route takes you to the stunning Findenigkofel / Monte Lodin in the beautiful alpine region. The trail is 7.06 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 490 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
As you begin your journey, you will come across the Käsestube, a farm shop located right at the start of the trail. This is a great spot to pick up some local cheese for a snack on your hike. Further along the trail, about 600 meters from the start, you will find a refreshing water source, perfect for rehydrating before continuing your ascent.
Midway through the hike, at a distance of 2.6 kilometers from the start, you will come across the memorial site "Auf der Wacht", offering a moment of reflection amidst the stunning mountain scenery. As you approach the peak of Findenigkofel / Monte Lodin, at 3.53 kilometers from the start, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.
