Key Summit is located in a beautiful area with stunning views over the Valley. This moderate 6.877-kilometer out-and-back trail is perfect for hikers looking for a scenic adventure.
As you start your journey, you will come across "The Divide Shelter" located just 0.05 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Continuing on, you will reach "The Divide" parking area, which marks the beginning of the trail.
As you hike further, at around 1.1 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a picturesque waterfall. This is a perfect place to rest and take in the natural beauty of the area. Further ahead, at 3.36 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source, ideal for refilling your water bottles.
The highlight of the hike is reaching "Key Summit" at 3.44 kilometers from the start. The summit offers breathtaking views and is a great spot to take photos and appreciate the scenery.
As you make your way back, you will pass by an amazing viewpoint over the Valley at 3.41 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect place to capture the beauty of the surroundings.
While the trail is of moderate difficulty, be prepared for some elevation gain of 344 meters. It's essential to bring enough water, wear proper hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
