Your journey begins in a beautiful area surrounded by nature. As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area at the trailhead. From there, you will continue on the trail, passing by various points of interest along the way.

About 5 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the peak of Urieta, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings. As you continue further, around the 7.59-kilometer mark, you will encounter the stunning Cascada de San Miguel, a picturesque waterfall that serves as the destination of this route.

Throughout the hike, you may also come across the Cueva de San Miguel El Viejo, Túmulo Peña de Aro archaeological site, Cueva Curtiveranos E, Araos I cave entrance, Portillo del Abate saddle, Arco de San Vitores monument, and Cueva Curtiveranos O cave entrance.
