This challenging hiking route takes you on a 9.586-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 392 meters in the picturesque area of El Nido. The trail begins at the parking area and quickly leads you to the archaeological site of Túmulo Peña de Aro, located 3.18 kilometers from the start. As you continue along the path, you will come across the historical monument of Arco de San Vitores, also situated 3.18 kilometers from the beginning.
Midway through the hike, at 4.79 kilometers from the start, you will reach El Nido, an alpine hut where you can take a rest and enjoy the stunning surroundings. The route is an out-and-back type, meaning you will retrace your steps back to the starting point.
This trail is considered difficult due to its length and elevation gain, so make sure to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. Additionally, it is advisable to check the weather forecast before embarking on this journey to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
