This extremely difficult hiking route covers a distance of 12.374 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1127 meters. The total duration for this hike is approximately 5 hours and 40 minutes.

You will begin your journey at the parking area near the Cascata del Toce waterfall. This picturesque waterfall is located just 0.06 kilometers from the start of the trail. As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by the Rifugio Eugenio Margaroli alpine hut, which is situated 6.19 kilometers from the starting point. This hut serves as a great resting spot for hikers to enjoy some refreshments and take in the stunning views of the surrounding area.

Along the route, you will also encounter various water features, such as natural springs and rivers, providing plenty of opportunities to refill your water supplies.
