This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Kassiansee - Lago di San Cassiano. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 5.477 kilometers and an elevation gain of 425 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.
You will start your hike at the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest.
About 0.68 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a wayside shrine, followed by an informative tourism stop at 0.79 kilometers. Further along the trail, at 1.16 kilometers, you will find a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
At 1.46 kilometers, you will reach Schutzhaus Latzfonser Kreuz - Rifugio Santa Croce di Lazfons, a restaurant and alpine hut where you can stop for a meal. Continuing on, at 1.55 kilometers, you will come across a historic wayside cross.
As you make your way towards the peak of Kassianspitz - Cima San Cassiano, at 2.24 kilometers, you will find an information stop to learn more about the area. At 2.32 kilometers, you will reach Samspitze, another peak worth exploring.
