This challenging hiking route takes you to the summit of Karspitze - Punta Quaira, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 9.884 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1047 meters, making it suitable for experienced hikers.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the Karspitze parking area, located right at the beginning of the hike. As you continue on the trail, around 3.57 kilometers in, you will find a water source where you can refill your water bottles. Further along the trail, at 2.28 kilometers, you will reach Zirmaitalm, a restaurant where you can take a break and grab a bite to eat.

Around the 4.94 kilometers mark, you will reach the peak of Karspitze - Punta Quaira, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Be sure to take in the stunning scenery before heading back on the trail.

Throughout the hike, you will also come across various points of interest such as Rothleite, Steinwiese, Waldkofel, and wayside crosses, providing opportunities to learn more about the area's history and natural features.
